We support standard web video formats including MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and WebM.
The video is re-encoded to an H.264 MP4 file, so a small loss of quality is possible. The High quality setting uses a higher bitrate and keeps the loss hard to see, at the cost of a larger file.
Yes. Video editing runs on our servers, so the file is uploaded over HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored temporarily and deleted by an automated cleanup job after the retention period stated in our Privacy Policy (currently 4 hours).
